Why can't I just hire a full-time designer?

Great question! For starters, the annual cost of a full-time senior-level Graphic/UI/UX Designer (which is a very rare combination) can range from $100,000 - $150,000+. Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them busy at all times, so you're stuck paying for time you aren't able to utilise.

With the weekly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you're only paying your designer when you have work available for them.

Why can't I use services like Fiverr or Upwork instead?

Design-ah! offers a more streamlined and reliable experience compared to platforms like Fiverr or Upwork. With a subscription, you get a dedicated designer who works consistently on your brand, fostering familiarity and ensuring high-quality, cohesive results over time.

Unlike one-off freelance projects, a subscription model eliminates the hassle of sourcing new designers for each task, provides predictable costs, and allows for ongoing adjustments, making it ideal for businesses with continuous design needs.

Is there a limit to how many requests I can have?

Nope! We don't charge per project or hour worked. Instead, you're provided access to a Trello queue that you can add as many design requests to as you'd like, and we'll work through them one by one in any order that you set.

How fast will I receive my designs?

Most designs are completed within just a couple of days, however larger projects can take longer.

Who are the designers?

This may come as a shock, but Design-ah! is a team of one. You'll be working directly with me - someone who has over 12 years of experience in the world of design. I've done and seen it all.

How do I request designs?

We offer a ton of flexibility in how you request designs using Trello. Some common ways clients request designs is directly via Trello, sharing Google docs or wireframes, or even recording a brief Loom video (for those who prefer not to write their briefs out). Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it's fair game.

What programs do you design in?

Most work is completed in Figma, Photoshop or InDesign - but if required, other software will be used.

What if I don't like the design?

That's not an issue, we will continue to revise the design until you are 100% happy. Promise!

What if I only have a single request?

No problem! After the request is completed, you can pause your weekly subscription and reactivate it when more work comes along. There's no need to waste your subscription now is there?

We can also handle one-off jobs if you want to go without a subscription.

Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?

Due to the premium nature of our service and the monetary value of each design delivered, we do not offer any form of a money-back guarantee. However, if you're unsatisfied with our service, please contact us and we'll do what we can to make things right. Refunds, however, are never guaranteed.

Are there any design tasks that you don’t cover?

While we handle most design-related tasks, we currently don’t offer custom illustrations, animations, or web development services. However, we’d be happy to provide recommendations for these services if needed.
